Grid Tied Solar Systems:

We specialize in the installation of Grid Tied Solar Electric Systems. The solar panels connect directly to your household electricity without the need for batteries. Net Metering occurs when the solar panels produce more electricity than your home is using, causing your meter to spin backwards. The utility company credits your bill at full retail rates for the electricity you produce.

Utility, Federal & State Incentives
Arkansas Utility Net-Metering
The Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008 extended the 30% tax credit for eight years and removed the dollar cap so the tax credit is now unlimited for solar electric systems. The Act also allows individual taxpayers to use the credit to offset AMT (Alternative Minimum Tax) and to carry unused credits forward to the next tax year. Learn More

How Net Metering Works
The solar panels convert sunlight into direct-current (DC) electric power by energizing electrons in the silicon cells.
An inverter converts the DC power into standard alternating-current (AC) used by your home. Your existing electrical panel then distributes the electricity to power your home and appliances.
Excess power generated by your system is sent back through your utility service. The excess electricity spins your meter backwards and you receive full retail credit with the utility company. You can use this excess electricity free of charge later that day, at night, or even months later.
Solar is Proven Technology
Reliable – Our Solar systems operate reliably for long periods of time. The panels we install have a power warranty that guarantees at least 80% of rated power for 25 years. Our inverters have a 25 year complete replacement warranty. For more than fifty years solar has proven itself in space where repairs are prohibitive or impossible. Durable – Our solar panels are manufactured in the USA to endure the most rugged conditions found on Earth. Extreme temperatures, moisture, salt, or wind cannot damage our solar panels.
They are tested to withstand golf ball-sized hail at 54 miles per hour.- Low Maintenance – PV systems contain no moving parts. Occasional washing of the panels may be all the maintenance required.
Grid Tied solar systems have the lowest initial cost without the need for the additional expense of batteries, battery chargers, control systems or back-up generators. The grid essentially becomes the battery and the back-up generator in Grid-Tied systems.
- A Grid Tied system is the most efficient and reliable form of solar energy with minimal power loss or down time.
- Grid Tied systems are scalable. Since the utility grid provides a permanent source of power the size of the system can be determined by budget or available space. One panel and an inverter is all the equipment necessary to start a Gid Tied system. More modules can be added later to further decrease energy dependence on the grid.

- During peak solar energy production between 9am and 3pm most homeowners are using the least amount of energy in their homes. Most of the electricity produced can be passed to the grid maximizing the homeowner’s energy credit from the utility.
- The same hours are usually high energy drains on the utility grid while powering stores, malls, office buildings and public centers like schools and hospitals. Most utility companies welcome the added supply provided by Grid Tied solar systems during these peak demand hours.
